Conjoined Twins
Born in Siam (now Thailand) in 1811, Eng and Chang Bunker were connected at the chest by a five-inch-wide band of flesh.
Parasitic twin
A parasitic twin is the result of the processes that produce vanishing twins and conjoined twins, and may represent a continuum between the two.
Monozygous
This is an uncommon complication of monozygous twinning in which there is fusion of the twins.
Thoracopagus
This is an example of thoracopagus. Note the large omphalocele in the lower abdomen shared by these monozygous twins.
Conjoined twins
