Hunzib Language and Information Resources
Hunzib is a Northeast Caucasian language spoken by about 1840 people in southern Dagestan, near the Russian border with Georgia.
The Hunzib language belongs to the Dido subgroup of the northwestern group (Avar-Ando-Dido) of Dagestan languages.
Hunzib is most closely related to Bezhta, with which it forms the eastern branch of the Tsezic languages.
